Where I live, we are celebrating the holiday of Thanksgiving this week. Although we should be grateful EVERY DAY for all our blessings, our country decided we should designate a SPECIAL day to give thanks.
We have so much to be thankful for: family, friends, clothing, food, a roof over our heads, and good health are just a few.
But there are oh so many other things. I'm grateful for every breath I take, every heart beat...all the things our bodies do to keep us alive and we don't even have to think about it....it just happens.
I'm grateful for every blade of grass, every tree, every raindrop, every sunny day, every snowflake, every star in the sky, the moon, the sun. I'm grateful for music, dancing, hearing, my sense of smell, taste, family games, quiet time.
I could go on and on. There are so many things to be grateful for. This Thanksgiving remember to be grateful for ALL of it...the usual things and the things you don't usually think about.
