I've lost a lot of people close to me in the last year and a half, especially in the last four months. Part of processing, for me, is to examine my own life.
I'm sure most, if not all of these people had plans and dreams for their future that they never had the opportunity to complete. "Some day I'll do this", "Next year I'll do that", "In the summer I'll do...whatever" We all put things off until a better time. The problem is, we don't know how much time we have. We could be gone before we know it. OR our health could be gone before we know it.
While reflecting on the friends and family that have passed, I've reached some conclusions. Do the things you want to do NOW, not later. Don't put things off. Live in their stead. I think the best way we can honor those we have lost is to live our lives to the fullest.
